The Water Treatment Business Development Leader will be responsible for expanding their presence in the water treatment market and driving strategic growth across North America.

Water Treatment Business Development Leader responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities where chemical dosing and treatment solutions are required
  • Assess market applications, target opportunities and build strategies to grow the water market
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, engineering firms and key customers
  • Apply technical expertise to understand processes, troubleshoot challenges and recommend tailored engineered solutions
  • Conduct market research, prepare business plans and execute growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, operations and commercial teams to deliver customized solutions
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events and customer site visits
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and activity reports for leadership
The successful candidate has:
  • 8–12 years of B2B business development or technical sales experience within the water treatment industry
  • Proven experience identifying opportunities and building market expansion plans
  • Solid technical knowledge of dosing pumps, chemical injection systems and water treatment applications
  • Experience selling into municipal or industrial water markets such as food and beverage, pulp and paper, mining or agriculture
  • Strong network within water sector verticals and experience working with distributors
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and operate with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per month across North America
