Job Description

Our growing client is looking for a Warehouse Lead in the Regina area. This is a company that has invested in doing things properly a newer, clean and exceptionally well-organized warehouse, strong inventory controls, clear daily KPIs and an experienced team that knows how to deliver.

The Warehouse Lead will step into a well-run operation, lead and support the team, maintain the high standards already in place and continue finding practical ways to make a strong operation even better.

Warehouse Lead responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach a team of approximately five warehouse employees.
  • Ensure daily orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Oversee inventory transactions and cycle counting.
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy and attendance.
  • Monitor daily workflow, resolve issues quickly and keep the team on track.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement practical warehouse process improvements.
  • Work closely with purchasing, customer service, production and sales when order or inventory issues arise.
  • Maintain strong warehouse organization, inventory accuracy and operational standards.
  • Step into picking, packing, shipping or light assembly when the team needs support.
The successful candidate has:
  • Previous people leadership experience in a warehouse and distribution environments.
  • Experience with inventory control and inventory transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proven ability to coach, motivate and hold a team accountable.
  • A collaborative, team-first leadership style.
  • Strong initiative and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Comfort working with ERP inventory systems.
  • The willingness to be hands-on and work alongside the team when required.

Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Three weeks’ vacation.
  • Quarterly profit-sharing program.
  • Full-time, on-site position.
