Warehouse and Inventory Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee $7 million in inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, control, and analysis of stock levels and movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse while implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize space, processes, and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to manage supplier relationships, reduce dead inventory, and improve procurement processes.
- Coordinate logistics and oversee the handling of US-based imports, including negotiating and managing freight quotes.
- Implement and refine new inventory control strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operations.
- Manage the decommissioning process of outdated equipment, including salvaging and recycling usable components in accordance with company policies.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff across multiple locations, fostering a proactive, self-managed work culture while ensuring safety and productivity standards are met.
- Develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff to enhance performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Proven experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably overseeing high-volume smaller stock with over 40,000 SKUs.
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with managing supplier relationships and reducing dead inventory.
- Knowledge of handling US-based imports and freight management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
- Ability to implement and refine inventory control strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $110,000, depending on experience.
