Job Description

We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales in the Building Solutions Industry.

Our client is a North American leader in engineered building solutions, known for their innovative approach to design, manufacturing, and distribution. This is a rare opportunity to join the executive team of a dynamic, growth-oriented company with a global footprint. The Vice President of Sales will lead a high-performance sales organization, expand distribution networks, and drive revenue across North America and international markets. Note this position is based out of Huron County Ontario and relocation may be required.   Vice President of Sales responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies across Canadian, U.S., and global markets
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, including regional directors in Canada and the U.S.
  • Expand and support a growing dealer and distribution network
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, product development, and finance to align sales efforts with business goals
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and forecasting models to drive performance and accountability
  • Oversee customer contracts, pricing strategies, receivables, and margin management
  • Support strategic marketing efforts including SEO, lead generation, and brand awareness campaigns
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and international dealer conferences
  The successful candidate has:
  • 20+ years of sales experience, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; additional certifications are an asset
  • Proven track record in dealer acquisition, sales growth, and market expansion in North America
  • Experience in both strategic planning and hands-on sales execution
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a commitment to developing high-performing teams
  • Experience in the construction, building products, or manufacturing sectors is preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally
