Job Description
As the US Sales Team Leader, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing new sales channels and directing sales activities to major current accounts.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:
- Develop and execute US Sales strategies for achieving margin targets and market growth.
- Collaborating with Marketing and Supply Chain to develop sales strategies and hit target numbers.
- Managing brokers progress and goal plans and ensuring they will be achieved.
- Ongoing training and development of Sales team for promotions and product launches.
- Creation and implementation of reporting tools for both external and internal usage.
- Monitors and reports on targets, performance of SKU’s and presents creative strategies and course correction.
- Knowledge of US markets and sales trends an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in sales
- Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing or Finance
- Knowledge of sales techniques
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Travel as required
- The discussed salary range is between $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, plus commission structure
