Manager: Travel Products and Sales Responsibilities (For Travel Industry Experts):
  • Chart the Course (Leveraging Your Industry Knowledge): Develop and execute cutting-edge product marketing strategies, anticipating market shifts and uncovering hidden opportunities to revolutionize the member travel experience. Become the visionary behind their travel portfolio.
  • Forge Alliances (With Your Established Network): Negotiate high-impact agreements with travel suppliers, securing exclusive deals and maximizing revenue potential. Become a master dealmaker, building powerful partnerships that elevate their offerings.
  • Empower the Expedition Team (Using Your Travel Expertise): Provide clear product direction and strategic insights to the Sales and Service Team, enabling them to become trusted travel advisors and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Inspire and motivate your team to reach new heights.
  • Lead the Voyage (With Your Proven Industry Leadership): Mentor and guide a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth. Become a true leader, shaping the future of travel.
  • Craft Bespoke Journeys (Capitalizing on Your Destination Knowledge): Develop innovative travel specialization models, empowering the Travel Counsellor team to cater to the diverse needs of today's traveler. Become a trendsetter in the world of travel.
  • Orchestrate Success (With Your Understanding of Travel Operations): Ensure seamless communication and implementation of product strategies, maximizing sales productivity and exceeding ambitious targets. Become a driving force behind their success.
  • Collaborate and Connect (Within Your Travel Industry Circles): Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, BI/Finance, and the Travel Education team, to create cohesive strategies and impactful campaigns. Become a key player in their interconnected network.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve (With Your Travel Industry Insights): Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging travel technologies to maintain a competitive edge and identify new avenues for growth. Become a thought leader in the ever-evolving travel landscape.
The Successful Candidate Has (Travel Industry Specific):
  • 5+ years of recent and relevant experience navigating the travel industry, with a proven track record of success in product marketing, supplier relationship management, and sales leadership.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A post-secondary education in Travel is mandatory.
  • An in-depth, working knowledge of the travel ecosystem, including products, destinations, technology, and services.
  • Established relationships within the travel supplier network and exceptional negotiation prowess.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within a travel agency environment and experience in managing and inspiring teams.
  • An unwavering passion for travel and a dedication to crafting exceptional customer experiences.
