Job Description
Reporting the VP of Sales, the Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for establishing new sales channels and directing sales activities of current major accounts. Note this is a fully remote role.Â
Territory Sales Representative responsibilities:
- Develop and execute US sales strategies to further penetrate relevant sales channels (Swimming Pools and Leisure)
- Work with retailer’s buyer/merchant team to ensure outstanding sales performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partner channels, assisting with product promotions, merchandising, training and troubleshooting issues.Â
- Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to develop sales strategies and hit target numbers.
- Monitor and report on targets and present creative strategies for course correction.
- Plan, host, coordinate and facilitate trade shows, business events and client meetings according to business plan.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven strategic sales experience. Preferably in the Pool Equipment Wholesale industry or Consumer Electronics.
- Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing or Finance.
- Intimate understanding of major retailer buying process and departments
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel 25% (overnight).
- Knowledge of the recreational pool equipment industry is considered an asset.
- Ideal candidate will reside near Minneapolis or Chicago airports. Â
- The discussed salary range is between $80,000-100,000 USD depending on experience, plus commission structure. On target earnings for this role is $130,000 USD.Â
- Candidates with additional experience and higher. compensation expectations may also be considered.
