Job Description
Our client is a leading Manufacturer’s Representative Agency in the Prairies with ambitious plans to expand their business. They are excited to add a remote-based outside sales professional to their team who will grow alongside this well-poised company in a thriving field. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible promoting, maintaining, and developing their territory (Winnipeg/Brandon) selling a full catalogue of partner products to new and existing customers.
Territory Manger responsibilities:
- Promote full category of products and services to key centers of influence in all target sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to generate leads and increase sales pipeline.
- Build and grow sales with existing client relationships.
- Provides technical, effective sales presentations.
- Provide customer service for a range of related topics.
- Cultivate new relationships to understand customer’s equipment demands.
- Manage sales budget for the territory.
The successful candidate has:Â
- Post-secondary education in a technical/electrical field considered an asset .
- Proven experience selling to industrial electrical equipment distributors, general contractor or other industrial end users.
- Technical understanding of electrical equipment is considered an asset.
- Service oriented attitude with excellent relationship building skills.
- Goal oriented and driven mindset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The discussed 1st year base salary is $80,000 plus generous guaranteed (1st year) commission structure. Anticipated 1st year on target earnings for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Uncapped commission structure.
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered.
- Remote home-based office. Laptop, cell phone allowance, office chair and car allowance provided.
