Temporary AR/AP Roles - 19293
Job Description
We are currently hiring Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Specialists for multiple upcoming contract opportunities with our clients across various industries in Edmonton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Manage AR/AP transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address payment issues and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in AR/AP functions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in AR/AP roles, preferably within a corporate or shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in contract or temporary roles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and automated payment processing tools.
- A background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
