Technical Sales Specialist - 19032
Job Description
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the energy industry.
Technical Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Client Outreach: Initiate outbound B2B sales efforts to identify new prospects and clients.
- Sales Execution: Actively participate in the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase our cloud-based solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer support.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and product advancements.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager, Account Managers, Technical Advisory Group, and Marketing team to achieve sales objectives.
- 1-2+ years of sales experience in the energy or oil & gas industry
- Experience with SaaS
- Engineering degree, technical diploma in Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry and or data solutions
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- The discussed base salary is $90,000 depending on experience, plus KPI bonus and commission. OTE in first year $150,000 and second year $200,000
