Technical Inside Sales Engineer

We’re hiring a Technical Inside Sales Engineer to support growth within a specialized natural gas and gas services organization focused on engineered solutions for natural gas handling, emissions control, and field deployed systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who enjoys consultative selling, problem solving, and close collaboration with operations and engineering teams.
This is an inside sales role with a strong technical component, supporting customers across Canada and the U.S. while helping drive new opportunities and expand existing relationships.
What you’ll do
- Support technical sales activity for natural gas and field deployed systems
- Translate customer needs into clear, workable technical solutions
- Prepare quotes, scopes, and supporting technical documentation
- Act as a liaison between customers, engineering, and field services
- Manage opportunities, follow ups, and internal records
- Support customer meetings and trade events as needed
- Engineering degree or technical diploma preferred
- 3+ years in natural gas services, process equipment, or technical sales
- Strong understanding of pressure systems, fluid flow, or industrial equipment
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, customer focused approach
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Base salary of $90,000, plus a strong performance based incentive program
