Shop Floor Operations - (Industrial Focus) - 19337
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians and shop workers, ensuring a high level of productivity and morale.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring all steps are followed, from initial design to final shipping ensuring each is on track and meets deadlines.
- Manage the shop floor, ensuring all work is progressing efficiently. Responsible for organizing resources, tools, and manpower to ensure products are built and shipped on time.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure custom products are built to specification. This is a role that requires problem-solving and creativity, as no two days are the same.
- Review and manage project budgets, monitor timelines, and adjust resources or schedules as needed to ensure the successful and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and processes, with the ability to troubleshoot and make decisions that keep projects moving forward.
- Experience managing multiple projects, with the ability to keep everything organized, meet deadlines, and ensure that everything stays within budget.
- The ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment where no two projects are the same.
- Previous experience in shop management or project management, particularly in industries where custom products are designed and built.
- Previous experience with fieldwork would be considered a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to changes in priorities is crucial for success in this role.
- The discussed salary range is $95,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
