Senior Fund Accountant - 18581
Job Description
Our client is seeking a CPA to handle the accounting and financial reporting for several investment funds for fast growing privately held investment firm, focused on real estate lending.
Our client is committed to:

The key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing investment performance and presenting the results to management and the client.
- Preparation of various management reports for assigned partnerships.
- Review the allocation of income and expenses to the partners capital accounts by the administrator.
- Oversee the billing and invoice payment process.
- Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Review the capital calls and distributions to partners.
- Review of the preparation of financial statements and footnotes by the administrator.
- Oversee the recording of bank transactions and maintaining asset trackers for all investment funds.
- Various special projects for the CFO and Senior Controller.
What the successful candidate will bring:
- A CPA designation or Degree in Finance.
- 2-3 years hands-on experience within fund accounting/tax/reporting.
- High level Excel skills and ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience would be as asset
- Proactive, team player with strong work ethic.
- Experience and knowledge of fund accounting and real estate would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
