Senior Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We’re looking for an on-site Senior Customer Service Representative in the logistics / transportation industry based in Calgary, AB.
Our client is a growing logistics company with a strong commitment to reliable service, clear communication, and a collaborative workplace culture. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Customer Service Representative to help manage customer interactions, support operations, and contribute to high-quality service delivery across their network.
Senior Customer Service Representative responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, issues, and follow-ups professionally and efficiently
- Process orders, bookings, and customer requests with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate with internal operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery and service standards
- Maintain and update customer records, documentation, and order statuses
- Communicate with clients, drivers, and teammates by email and phone to facilitate smooth logistics operations
- Help junior customer-service staff as needed; provide guidance or mentoring if required
- Support ongoing improvements to customer service processes and reporting
The successful candidate has:
- Minimum 5 years of customer-service or client-facing experience (industry experience is a plus, but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — written and verbal
- Proven reliability, consistent work history, and strong tenure at previous roles
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using computers and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, email, CRM or similar systems)
- Dependability, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $55,000 – $65,000 CAD per year depending on experience.
- Candidates with strong experience and performance expectations may be considered for higher compensation
