Job Description

Remote role for candidates based in the Edmonton metropolitan area. Must be able to meet in person for training and company meetings.
We are partnered with an entrepreneurial lending and financial organization that offers a rare opportunity to work directly with founders, shape systems from the ground up, and grow alongside a fast moving small business. This role is fully remote for candidates based in the Edmonton area who can meet onsite when needed.
The Senior Administrative Assistant will support every area of the business and play a key role in improving operations, systems, marketing support, and bookkeeping. This position is best suited for someone who is self directed, organized, and comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are still being built.

Senior Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

Operations and Administration

  • Manage, document, and improve internal systems, workflows, and administrative processes

  • Coordinate projects, scheduling, and communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Build and streamline administrative and operational infrastructure as the business grows

  • Provide flexible support for quick turnaround tasks during busy periods, only occasionally outside standard hours

Financial and Bookkeeping Support

  • Handle bookkeeping, banking tasks, invoicing, and financial tracking

  • Maintain accurate records and support ongoing financial organization

Marketing and Technology

  • Manage CRM tools such as SHAPE and other automation platforms

  • Support digital marketing and social media, including simple posts, content updates, or campaign coordination

  • Provide general tech support to optimize tools and systems for the team

The Successful Candidate Has:

  • More than 5 years of experience supporting an entrepreneur or running full scope office administration

  • Experience in private lending, mortgage, legal, or related financial services

  • Strong technical aptitude with CRM platforms such as Trello or SHAPE

  • Bookkeeping experience and confidence with financial tasks

  • Ability to work across many areas with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism

  • Comfort working in a small business without rigid protocols, with initiative to problem solve independently

  • Must be located in the Edmonton area with a dedicated work from home setup

  • Ability to meet the executives in person when required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience

  • Candidates with deeper experience or higher compensation expectations may be considered
