Job Description

We’re looking for a Sales Team Lead in the industrial fluid and water treatment industry based in Calgary.
Our client is known for its innovative and environmentally responsible chemical and mechanical solutions.  They focus on optimizing their customers' system performance and productivity while minimizing environmental impact and health and safety risks. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, inspiring leadership, and ensuring the continuous training and skills development of the sales team.

Sales Team Lead responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative sales strategies for current and future markets to drive company growth
  • Work collaboratively with management to align sales strategies with overall company goals
  • Ensure the continuous training and skills development of the sales teams
  • Manage the sales budget by ensuring alignment with sales objectives and maximizing profitability
  • Evaluate the performance of sales teams and keep them motivated
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and offer recommendations to improve performance
  • Manage relationships with key customers, negotiate deals, and resolve issues to ensure their satisfaction
  • Build strategic alliances with partners and distributors
  • Report sales results, progress, projects, and other relevant information
  • Manage technological changes and be well-informed about the digital transition
  • Identify and explore promising new markets
  • Monitor the competition and develop sales strategies to stand out in the market
The successful candidate has:
  • 15 years of experience, including 5 years in team management in the field of sales for the manufacturing sector
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in developing a sales force team
  • Available for regular travel
  • Holds a driver's license
  • Proficiency in using CRM Software
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
