Sales Representative - Outdoor Furnishings and Display
Job Description
Our client is a well established, family owned Canadian manufacturer and supplier of display products used in public and commercial spaces. They design and produce holiday displays, site furniture, flags and banners for municipalities, BIAs, property managers, institutions and commercial properties across North America. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing long cycle sales opportunities and presenting value based solutions to public and commercial customers.
Sales Representative responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business within assigned territory
- Develop and manage long cycle sales opportunities
- Sell into municipalities, BIAs, institutions and large commercial organizations
- Identify and respond to tenders and quote opportunities
- Present design driven solutions and pricing proposals
- Build long term customer relationships through consultative selling
- 3–7 years of B2B sales experience Â
- Experience selling to municipalities, institutions or commercial property groups
- Comfort working independently in a field based sales role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an asset
- The discussed salary range is $48,000 – $62,000 depending on experience
- Commission of 10 percent after minimum targets are met, with no cap
- Mileage reimbursement and expense coverage
- Full benefits after probation
- Three weeks vacation after one year, increasing with tenure
