Job Description
We’re looking for a Sales Specialist in the Data Center sector in Quebec.
Our client supports utility and industrial sites with power and temperature control systems. The role involves direct technical engagement with engineers and operators to design, scope, and deliver equipment rental solutions under tight timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and service utility facilities including power plants and substations
- Lead site assessments and develop technical solutions
- Generate commercial proposals and support project delivery
- Partner with operations to ensure client timelines are met
- Track opportunities and customer activities in CRM
- Maintain knowledge of equipment capabilities and market needs
The successful candidate has:
- 3–5 years in technical sales or applications engineering
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (mechanical preferred)
- Experience selling to and exposure to the Data Center industry
- Working knowledge of cooling towers, pumps, and power distribution
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Lucrative commission with a bridge for the first year
