Job Description

We’re looking for a Sales Representative (SaaS) for our client GEMS.pro, a leader in workforce management solutions.Gems.pro technology empowers organizations to streamline volunteer recruitment, registration, and scheduling processes for events, creating efficient and organized workforce management systems.

This is a term position for the remainder of 2024 and possible extension. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence in Canada, with a strategic focus on larger cities and event-centric networks. As GEMS.pro continues to grow, the role may evolve to include the US market.

Sales Representative responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify key opportunities and trends in the workforce management sector within Canada, with a focus on major urban areas and event-related industries.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to effectively position GEMS.pro in the Canadian market.
  • Create a targeted approach for reaching out to event organizers, committees, and organizations that can benefit from our workforce management solutions.
  • Generate leads through networking, outreach, and leveraging existing connections within the events and volunteer management community.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value of GEMS.pro in enhancing their workforce management processes.
  •  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and contribute to ongoing sales strategy adjustments.
The successful candidate has: 
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with workforce management, event planning, or related industries is a strong asset.
  • Strong networking skills and an existing network within the events or volunteer management community.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for technology solutions and improving organizational efficiency.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed base pay is equivalent to $60,000 per year plus commissions (up to $4,000 per month).
