Sales Director
Job Description
Our client is a privately owned North American provider of bulk and industrial packaging solutions used to support critical customer operations. The business is highly relationship driven and works with customers who value quality, reliability, and long term partnership over transactional pricing. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales and customer service function, protecting long standing customer relationships, and driving controlled growth through expanded solutions within existing accounts.
Sales Director responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small, experienced sales and customer service team
- Maintain and strengthen long term relationships with key customer accounts
- Drive growth through new SKUs and expanded product adoption within existing customers
- Provide structure, focus, and clarity across sales activities
- Partner closely with procurement, fulfillment, and operations teams
- Support complex negotiations and long cycle customer agreements
- Use CRM and sales data to maintain discipline, visibility, and accountability
- Senior B2B sales leadership experience in a relationship led environment
- Experience managing consultative, long cycle sales models
- Strong people leadership with a practical, hands on approach
- Comfort leading an experienced team with long tenure
- A collaborative mindset and strong operational alignment
- Sound commercial judgment, curiosity, and flexibility
- The discussed base salary is $175,000
