Job Description

We’re looking for a design forward Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the Specialty Packaging Industry.

In this role, you'll be pivotal to our client’s sales process, handling both outbound sales efforts and qualifying inbound inquiries to ensure they are directed to our Account Executives. This is a hybrid position with a downtown Vancouver office location.

 The SDR responsibilities:
  • Outbound Lead Generation: Develop and utilize outbound sales lists to initiate discovery meetings with target accounts.
  • Inbound Lead Qualification: Quickly respond to inquiries from various channels. Engage with potential clients to evaluate their needs and determine if products or services are a good match.
  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with marketing inquiries to provide them with relevant information and address their queries in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Leverage phone, email and social media as the primary form of communication to initiate and build relationships with prospects. Craft compelling and personalized communication to articulate the value of products/services.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to share lead insights, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads in the CRM system.

The successful candidate has: 
  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably within the custom packaging or related industry.
  • Experience in graphic design, packaging operations or e-commerce is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and benefits:
 
  • The discussed salary is $45,000 plus commission structure. Anticipated on target earnings for this role is $65,000.
