Job Description


We’re looking for a Business Development Manager in the Utilities industry.

Our client is a global leader in temporary power and temperature control solutions, known for delivering critical support to infrastructure, utility, and industrial sectors. The Business Development Manager will focus on building and expanding relationships within the utilities sector, aligning technical solutions with customer needs to deliver measurable results.

Business Development Manager responsibilities:

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the utilities sector
• Develop strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate goals
• Build strong, lasting customer relationships through site visits and technical consultations
• Lead customer workshops and site assessments to identify opportunities
• Produce and manage contracts and proposals, ensuring service delivery standards are met
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends
• Support technical service delivery and oversee project execution as needed

The successful candidate has:

• 7–10 years of experience in business development or technical sales, preferably in the utilities sector
• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage long-term relationships
• Experience conducting site visits, developing cost estimates, and supporting project implementation
• Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation and benefits:
• The discussed salary range is $150,000 - $175,000 depending on experience, plus bonus structure
