We’re looking for a Business Development Manager in Construction in Edmonton.
Our client is a global leader in providing temporary power, cooling, and energy solutions that keep major construction and building projects on schedule. This high-impact role is ideal for a driven sales professional who excels at developing new business, building lasting relationships, and delivering tailored technical solutions to construction, infrastructure, and building service clients across Western Canada.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business across construction and building services projects
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in Western Canada
- Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and client presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and project managers
- Lead proposals, bids, and contract negotiations to ensure successful delivery
The successful candidate has:
- 7–10 years of business development or technical sales experience in construction, building services, or industrial sectors
- Proven success developing new business and managing complex accounts
- Strong understanding of construction project operations and timelines
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Compensation and benefits:
- Base salary of $160,000, plus performance-based bonus
