Sales Manager - Oil & Gas
Job Description
Our client manufactures engineered chemical-injection systems, pumps, monitoring technology, and emissions-reduction equipment used by producers, midstream operators, and EPCs. Due to internal movement, the Calgary Sales Manager role is now open and will lead an established sales team while driving new business in the Calgary market.
Sales Manager responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a field sales team across multiple Western Canadian territories
- Conduct joint client visits, provide ongoing technical and sales development, and ensure strong territory execution
- Drive new business in Calgary by identifying RFQs, building relationships with engineers, procurement, and local producers, and developing regional revenue
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular in-person visits
- Present technical, modular system solutions and support reps in complex opportunities
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, pipeline accuracy, and performance reporting
- Attend industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across Western Canada
- 8+ years of experience in oil & gas sales (production, facilities, chemical injection, pumps, or instrumentation)
- Proven sales leadership experience managing and developing a remote field team
- A hunter mindset with strong business development capability
- Ability to understand modular engineered equipment with multiple components
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Calgary-based, with an existing O&G network strongly preferred
- Base salary $130,000–$150,000 depending on experience
- 25% quarterly bonus
