Job Description

We’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager in the Mining Equipment industry.

Our client is a well-established privately-owned organization serving the BC Mining & Construction industries for over 50 years. They are excited to add a Sales & Marketing Manager to their team! The SMM will act as a “playing coach” with management responsibilities in addition to owning core sales accounts and growing new business.

Sales & Marketing Manager responsibilities:
 
  • Drive sales through strategic management of local dealers, OEM’s, engineering/fabrication shops and end user relationships.
  • Oversees and manages all Sales & Marketing activities and operations.
  • Manage and oversee all marketing activities, including the website, branding, and social media.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
  • Prospect new business opportunities while consistently tracking/measuring progress using CRM system.
  • Evaluate, adjust, and create policies and procedures for effective Sales & Marketing operations.

The successful candidate has: 
 
  • 5+ years of proven B2B industrial sales experience.
  • Sales experience or exposure to Mining, Construction, Fabrication, Aggregates, Forestry, or Recycling sectors is ideal.
  • Some experience managing branding of websites and social media channels is considered an asset.
  • Superior presentation/communication/interpersonal skills and ability to convey value.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Compensation and benefits:
 
  • The discussed base salary range is $60,000-$70,000 plus monthly commission structure. Anticipated 1st year on target earnings is $100,000-$120,000.
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
