Job Description
Reporting to the President, the SEO Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing SEO functions and marketing plans across several company websites.
SEO Marketing Specialist responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and execute marketing initiatives in line with business goals, through a digital media focus
- Utilize evaluation techniques and methods; develop and monitor ROI and KSAs
- Deep understanding of analytics, data, and customer journey
- Develops and implements SEO and CRO strategies
- Manages and oversees the publication of all marketing materials and collateral
- Oversees the improvement of web presence, brand management and corporate identity of the business lines
- Evaluates marketing expenditures and balances with acquiring new customers
- Monitors and evaluates market trends, product trends, competitors; makes recommendations based on campaign outcomes
- Manages a multi-million-dollar marketing budget whilst ensuring profitable results
- Identifies new markets to expand existing business
- Weekly communication and reporting to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of marketing objectives and decisions, while working with internal and external teams for joint success
- Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience specific to digital media marketing & SEO
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing and/or related field
- Thorough understanding of digital media marketing with a general understanding of social media marketing
- Experience with media editing software, visual communication methods, web design and creation of digital content, including and not limited to blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos
- Experience managing budgets and targets
- Experience in an eCommerce retail setting
- Experience developing SEO practices in spaces with restricted advertising (i.e. nutraceuticals, gambling, cannabis, vape/tobacco/liquor, online casinos)
- Leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- $90,000-$120,000 annual salary
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
