Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of finance solutions for the automotive and powersports markets, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for a territory within the Ontario/GTA region, directing dealership sales activities for current accounts as well as establishing new sales channels. This is a remote-based, individual contributor role, with daily travel expectations to meet clients in person.

Regional Sales Manager responsibilities:
  • Build and execute contact strategies for achieving sales targets and market growth.
  • Actively network and build relationships with dealership key decision makers.
  • Proactively promote product offerings and educate clients in order to keep products top of mind.
  • Act as subject matter expert, respond to client inquiries, and create a top-notch customer experience.
  • Regularly log sales activities and relevant dealership information/data into CRM.
The successful candidate has:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Outside Sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the automotive dealership landscape.
  • Experience selling financial products and solutions is considered an asset.  
  • Exceptional relationship building, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and meet clientele face to face.
  • Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales or Finance is considered an asset.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is between $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience, plus commission structure. First year on target earnings for the average performer are $100,000 -$120,000. 
  • Candidates with additional experience and compensation expectations may also be considered.
