About the Firm / Opportunity
The Headhunters are looking for more Contaminated Sites Experts.  Join a well established environmental consulting firm known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence, and commitment to meaningful environmental outcomes. They’re seeking a strategic, relationship focused Regional Director – Contaminated Sites (Ontario) to help expand their presence, strengthen their technical practice, and support the delivery of complex environmental projects. This hybrid Whitby based role offers the chance to shape a growing regional practice while working closely with a supportive national leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to contaminated sites professionals
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across diverse sectors
  • Lead business development initiatives and identify emerging market opportunities
  • Support delivery of complex contaminated sites projects and ensure high quality client service
  • Contribute to regional planning, forecasting, and growth strategies
  • Collaborate with leaders across Canada to advance practice development and corporate initiatives
What the Successful Candidate Will Bring
  • Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Professional designation (QPESA/QPRA) or eligibility
  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience in Ontario
  • Strong understanding of provincial regulations, including O.Reg. 153/04 and O.Reg. 406/19
  • Demonstrated success in business development and leading multidisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, mentoring, and decision making skills
  • A collaborative mindset and established industry network
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ontario
