Job Description

We’re looking for an in office Receptionist in the professional services industry.

Our client, a highly professional firm with a very respectable reputation, is looking for a Receptionist to join their team in their Victoria office. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride and has passion for the role of Receptionist and wants to continue pursing a career in this area.

The Receptionist will be responsible for providing high level professional support to the internal partners, employees, as well as their clientele.

Receptionist responsibilities:
  • Answering the phone in a professional and courteous manner
  • Taking detailed messages and information
  • Practicing high communication with internal partners and team members
  • Handling confidential information with the upmost care
  • Managing a variety of administrative duties on a daily basis as well as ad hoc requests
  • Assisting in the upkeep of the reception area and other office areas such as meeting rooms, kitchen & boardrooms
  • Managing data base input with high accuracy
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
  • Being responsible for timely and planned out bank runs
  • Have a personal vehicle to ensure errands that are related to the office and work are able to be fulfilled
The successful candidate has: 
  • 5+ years experience
  • Post secondary education in office administration an asset
  • Experience in a professional setting, preferably from a professional services environment such as a law firm, accounting firm etc.
  • Reliable vehicle (must drive to work)
  • Professional, friendly and high level communication
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
