Real Estate Paralegal - 19090
Job Description
Our client a highly reputable legal firm is looking for a Paralegal to join their team. If you have a strong administrative background and an education or experience in the field of law, this role may be for you!
Paralegal responsibilities:
- Assisting lawyers with a variety of documents and files
- Drafting documentation
- Acting as a liaison between the firm and clients.
- Keeping track of documentation throughout lifecycle of the file
- Providing strong client communication and support
- Responsible for reporting of documents to clients and 3rd party organizations
- Providing general administration support to various members of team
- Working overtime as needed to meet client requirements
- Organizing and maintaining legal files.
- Filing documents with any applicable court systems
- Other duties as required
- Min 5 years experience in the administrative field
- Legal Administrator or Paralegal Diploma
- Strong communicator
- Intermediate to advanced user with MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Adaptable personality
- Enjoys working with deadlines and in a busy environment
- Located on the island with the ability to commute to Charlottetown
- The discussed salary range is $50,000, depending on experience
