Job Description

My client, one of Downtown Vancouver’s top law firms is looking for a Paralegal to join their Real Estate practice group. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of tasks to support one partner at the firm. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, motivated, and passionate about the legal profession.

Responsibilities of the Paralegal:
  • Due diligence searches and reporting
  • Disclosure statements, amendments, and information packages
  • Closing agendas and documentation for real estate acquisitions and sales
  • Preparing various real estate documents, contracts, forms as required
  • E-filing and database searches
 The successful candidate has:
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in real estate law
  • Strong knowledge of real estate terminology, contracts, and forms
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • A proactive, self-starter with a team-player attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of Real Estate related programs and databases
  • Paralegal certificate or diploma is an asset
Compensation and benefits:
  • Salary range between $90,000 - $100,000; based on experience
