Project Manager (Glass experience) - 18403

Job Description
As part of a growing organization and reporting to the VP of Operations you will drive long-term value as their Project Manager.
Our client's commercial glass projects require expertise in glass and are seeking a Project Manager who can successfully take all considerations into their projects while maintaining communication and collaborating with project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive exposure to commercial glass projects and is responsible for project-related risk management duties.
Project Manager responsibilities:
- Coordinates with design teams and internal staff
- Oversees construction and commissioning activities
- Provides project input for regulatory processes
- Coordinates with external resources and key stakeholders
- Lead the detailed design phase of projects with the design team
- Review engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, civil, structural, and architectural
- Prepare construction project scopes and budget estimates
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects according to schedule, design drawings, specifications, and budget
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
- Supervise the activities of contractors and subcontractors and perform site inspections, draw floor plans, and create mitigation and repair scopes
- Obtain quotes, create work orders, and write estimates using price-lists
- Complete final walk-throughs, collect deductibles, and obtain signatures
The successful candidate has:
- Project management experience in the commercial glazing industry.
- Understand job costing, invoicing, and file management
- 5+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects
- Expertise with project stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of critical objectives
- Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP an asset
- Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid time management, organizational, and planning skills
Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging between $105,000 to $120,000 based on relative experience
