Our client, a leading wealth management firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join their team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment handing trade settlements, preparing reports, and quality assurance. The Portfolio Administrator is responsible for supporting the management of investment portfolios.
Portfolio Administrator responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of account management, including setup, transfers, and closures, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports, presentations, and year-end tax packages.
- Keep client records up to date in the CRM system, tracking key interactions and essential documents.
- Handle financial transactions such as cheque processing, EFTs, and withdrawal requests with accuracy.
- Deliver timely, precise information to clients, tailored to their specific needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance efficiency and coordination.
- Assist in planning and executing client events while serving as a welcoming and professional point of contact.
- Support office operations by managing supplies and handling various administrative tasks as needed.
The successful candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.Â
- 1-3 years of experience in portfolio administration, investment management, or financial services.
- Interest and understanding in financial markets, investment products, and asset management
- Experience and proficiency in Excel and other financial software and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while juggling multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation (or working towards certification).
- CFA Level 1 is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $50,000 – $55,000 (negotiable based on experience).
