Senior Production Manager

Our client in West Edmonton, just west of Spruce Grove, is seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee a high?volume processing and packaging operation.
This role is ideal for a hands?on manufacturing leader who enjoys being closely connected to daily production while also driving operational improvements, developing teams, and strengthening overall plant performance.
Production Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for daily production activities including material processing, screening, blending, packaging, and shipping
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, supporting teams and ensuring smooth operational execution
- Ensure strong performance across safety, product quality, production output, equipment reliability, and cost control
- Monitor production performance and contribute to budget planning, operational forecasting, and performance tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational processes, including supporting capital improvement initiatives
- Develop supervisors and production staff through coaching, mentorship, and leadership development
- Promote a workplace culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and constructive communication
- Work effectively within an environment where production demands and operating conditions may vary day to day
- Strengthen engagement and leadership capability across the production team
- Demonstrated experience managing production operations within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational performance metrics, and production management
- Experience leading teams within high-volume or operationally complex manufacturing facilities
- Ability to manage production environments where conditions and outputs may shift daily
- A confident leader who makes thoughtful decisions, challenges existing processes, and supports team growth
- Leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence
- Salary range $12,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
