Responsibilities:Â
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple company entities.Â
- Ensure compliance with employment and payroll regulations across various provinces and adhere to company policies and procedures.Â
- Complete year-end adjustments, T4 reviews, and necessary reporting/reconciliation for regulatory entities.Â
- Maintain accurate employee records, including rates of pay, deductions, personal information, and departmental codes.Â
- Track and report time and attendance using designated systems.Â
- Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and related premiums.Â
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding activities, employment status changes, and terminations.Â
- Provide payroll documentation for audits and respond to employee inquiries.Â
- Administer expense submission programs and participate in salary survey data collection.Â
- Work on strategic projects related to compensation structures, pay ranges, and total reward packages.Â
- 4+ years of end-to-end payroll and benefits administration experience across multiple provinces.Â
- Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or human resources.Â
- Experience with Service Canada, Revenue Agency (CRA) legislation, payroll calculations, and provincial ESAs. Â
- Proficiency in MS Excel Â
- Ability to provide strategic recommendations, identify areas of improvement, and work independently or within cross-functional teams.Â
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.Â
- Experience with payroll system implementations and integrations with HRMS/HRIS platforms.Â
- Excellent time management, record-keeping, and organizational skills.Â
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in payroll, benefits, and compensation.Â
- Ability to build partnerships and collaborate across business entities.Â
Compensation and Benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $100,000 + Bonus
- Opportunity to work remote/hybrid
