Part-Time Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant
Job Description
We’re looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant to join a well-established, family-owned investment company with a long history of stability and success. This is a quiet, respectful office setting, located in north central Edmonton, where accuracy, reliability, and consistency are highly valued.

Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant responsibilities:
- Data entry, filing, and answering phone calls and messages
- Preparing invoices and monthly rent statements
- Processing GST filings, source deductions, and government remittances
- Posting payables, receivables, cheques, and general transactions in Sage
- Maintaining organized, paper-based records
- Posting monthly service reports and year-end adjustments
- Supporting general administrative requests and documentation needs
The successful candidate has:
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Experience in real estate or property management strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using Sage or similar accounting software
- Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
- A high level of independence, reliability, and accountability
- Ability to work on-site and comfortably manage work independently in a quiet office environment
- $30+ per hour, depending on experience
- Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 50 hours per month; ideally 2–3 days per week such as Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Free on-site parking
- Quiet, low-pressure office with minimal interruptions
- Transition support and training provided
