Job Description

Our client, a growing wholesaler of high-quality after-market auto parts, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving growth. With a combination of in-office collaboration and on-the-road client engagement, this position offers a flexible and balanced work environment.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will focus on developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with business customers, such as automotive repair shops, parts stores, and other automotive-related parts businesses. You will act as a trusted partner, helping customers identify the right parts and guiding them in optimizing their inventory to meet their business needs. This role is about more than sales—it’s about building lasting partnerships and delivering value to help customers succeed.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through a combination of outreach strategies, including calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business customers, including repair shops, parts retailers, and other automotive-related parts businesses.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and offer insights on inventory optimization.
  • Balance time between office-based work (developing leads, managing the sales pipeline) and on-the-road client engagement (meeting customers, closing deals, and building relationships).
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by managing a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build visibility and connect with potential clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proven success in B2B (business-to-business) sales, with strong skills in prospecting, building client relationships, and closing deals.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket or related industries is an asset but not required.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with a performance-driven commission structure.
  • Health benefits to support your well-being.
  • Flexible work environment with a mix of in-office and travel-based responsibilities.
Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
