Job Description
Operations Manager - Manufacturing Plant Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- LEAN Methodology: Champion LEAN practices to optimize production flow and reduce waste, ensuring continuous improvement across the manufacturing processes.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of three direct reports, fostering an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments, including human resources and finance, to align operational goals with business objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and drive improvements.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process by identifying opportunities for innovation and operational enhancements.
- Problem Solving: Address operational challenges proactively and implement effective solutions to maintain productivity.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Proficient in financial management and resource allocation.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
