Do you love soccer and working with kids? If so, read on… The Headhunters Recruitment have partnered with a brand-new, sport-based daycare in a state-of-the-art facility in Greater Vancouver to find an energetic and experienced Soccer Director to lead their early childhood programs (ages 1–5).
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong soccer background—whether as a player or coach—who’s passionate about inspiring the next generation through play, movement, and fun.
Soccer Director responsibilities:
- Develop and lead engaging soccer & movement sessions for toddlers and preschoolers
- Work alongside early childhood educators to create a fun, safe learning environment
- Support children’s physical and social development through sport
- Mentor junior activity staff
- Build positive relationships with families and the local community
- Help shape a completely new program from the ground up
- Has 10+ years of experience playing high level soccer (playing and/or coaching)
- Has 5+ years in a soccer coaching capacity
- Loves working with young children and understand their unique needs
- Is energetic, creative, and a strong communicator
- Appreciates a flexible full-time job that pairs well with evening/weekend coaching
- Is eager to be part of an innovative, mission-driven childcare program
- Note: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Designation an asset
- Competitive salary ($60,000-$90,000) + bonus + benefits
