Mining Equipment Sales Representative - 19335

Our client is a respected Canadian company with over 30 years of experience delivering high-performance aftermarket parts and engineering solutions to the open-pit mining industry. The Mining Sales Representative will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving sales growth across key mining regions. You’ll work alongside a dedicated internal team and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a business that values initiative and results.
Mining Sales Representative responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets
• Cultivate new business opportunities and manage existing accounts
• Conduct client visits, both local and international, as part of a travel-based schedule
• Collaborate with engineering, inside sales, and operations to deliver integrated solutions
• Provide technical knowledge and product recommendations tailored to client needs
• Negotiate and close sales with a consultative, value-driven approach
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
The successful candidate has:
• 5+ years of sales experience in the mining industry (required)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A results-oriented and self-motivated mindset
• Experience selling heavy equipment components, systems, or services
• Comfort with long sales cycles and technical decision-making processes
• A valid passport and ability to regularly travel internationally
