Job Description

Our client is a growing Canadian business in the technical manufacturing sector. As part of their continued expansion, they are adding leadership depth to a key customer-facing operations function through the addition of a Manager, Global Service Operations.

This role is suited to a service operations leader who has managed technical service teams, coordinated field technicians, scheduled urgent customer support, handled escalations, and built stronger processes in a fast-paced equipment, manufacturing, automation, or industrial service environment.

Manager of Global Service Operations:
  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the service department
  • Managing service scheduling, technician deployment, and resource planning
  • Building strong relationships with customers and acting as an escalation point when required
  • Improving response times, communication, and overall customer experience
  • Developing service processes, procedures, and operational standards that support growth
  • Partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, project management, and leadership teams
  • Supporting domestic and international service activities across multiple regions
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing service personnel while building a high-performing team
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing project management principles to coordinate multiple priorities, customers, and service requirements simultaneously
The successful candidate has: 
  • Proven leadership experience within a service, customer service and project management environment
  • Experience managing technical service teams and customer-facing operations
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and resource planning abilities
  • Demonstrated success improving service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage challenging customer situations with professionalism and confidence
  • Experience working across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical manufacturing, machinery, automation, industrial equipment, or engineered product experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Willingness to travel across North America and Europe as business needs require (approximately 20%)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary ranging from $135,000 to $145, 000pa
  • 15% bonus
