This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected, mission-driven organization that delivers large-scale conferences and tradeshows for leading national and international associations. With nearly five decades of experience, this team operates in a fully remote, collaborative environment that values innovation, cultural awareness, and impactful client experiences. The Senior Conference Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning and execution of complex, high-profile medical conferences and events.
Senior Conference Manager responsibilities:
• Lead the successful delivery of international conferences with 1,000+ delegates
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships and expectations
• Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and project milestones
• Oversee all aspects of event logistics including registration, housing, AV, speaker management, and vendor coordination
• Manage sponsorship and exhibition sales and execution
• Lead internal and external teams to ensure project alignment and high-quality delivery
• Ensure quality control and operational excellence across all project components
The successful candidate has:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing large-scale association or medical conferences
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, event management, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Proven experience managing complex conference budgets of $500,000+
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and cross-cultural relationship management skills
• A strong understanding of end-to-end conference logistics and stakeholder engagement
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
Compensation and benefits:
• The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
