Licensed Pharmacist
Job Description
We’re looking for Licensed Pharmacists in the retail pharmacy industry.

- Grand Prarie, AB
Our client is a fast-growing, pharmacist-owned organization operating multiple locations across Western Canada. Known for delivering patient-focused care beyond a traditional drug store model, this team prioritizes both community health and long-term career growth.
Licensed Pharmacist responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with provincial regulations
- Assess new and repeat prescriptions and apply medication management principles
- Educate patients on medication use and monitor patient progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Promote healthy living initiatives and immunization programs
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, operational, and clinical requirements
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of the pharmacy
- Manage inventory, staffing, and workflow to support efficient service delivery
The successful candidate has:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active ACP license in good standing
- ISTM certification (or commitment to obtain within one year)
- APA preferred
- Current CPR certification valid in Alberta
- Authorization to Administer Drugs by Injection preferred
- 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- 1+ year of leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong organizational, operational, and clinical oversight skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience supervising staff and evaluating performance
- Comfort managing pharmacy inventory and financials
- Knowledge of Dayforce or similar systems considered an asset
Compensation and benefits:
- Hourly pay range: $55–$65 per hour, depending on experience
