Job Description

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager in the Musical Instrument and Electronics industry.

Our client is a leading provider of innovative electronic devices, musical instruments and timekeeping solutions in Canada. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for our Big Box stores (Costco, Walmart, Amazon).

Key Account Manager responsibilities:
  • Manage negotiations and order with Costco, Walmart and Amazon accounts
  • Complete reports on Targets/Forecasting/DP on a monthly and half-year basis, forecasting up to 9 months ahead.
  • Manage Sell through, Promotions, and Product Returns.
  • Generate sales of specific Product Line and/or Account and/or Territory.
  • Establish new business development and avenues of distribution.
  • Maintain and grow business within all existing accounts.
  • Ensure orders are processed on a timely execution of delivery.
  • Perform all account maintenance and administration to complete sale transaction.
  • Complete and submit weekly/monthly/half sales progress reports to manager.
  • Achieve annual/half sales quota/target assigned to you.

The successful candidate has: 
  • Five or more years Sales/Account Management experience in the related industry, including a minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with clients such as Costco, Walmart, and Amazon, and understanding their online ordering process.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of various computer programs, i.e. Kissflow, Oracle E1, Excel, Retail link, etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills to facilitate meetings with groups of various level managers, clients, customers, school boards, etc.
  • Sales/Marketing Degree from University or College.

Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary is $80,000 plus vehicle allowance and biannual incentive
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
