Junior Accountant - 18677
Job Description
Our client, a Manitoba success story with a great culture is seeking a junior accountant to support their continued growth plan. Reporting to the Controller, you will have a nice variety of accounting responsibilities including accounts payable and various financial reports.
Our client is committed to:
- Providing a wide variety of accounting work with ability to mentor under a seasoned Controller

Reporting to the Controller, key responsibilities will include:
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Coding and entering accounts payable invoices
- Update spreadsheets with financial results
- Track and review product costs
- Preparation of various financial reports
- Assist the Controller with month-end and ongoing projects
What the successful candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Progress toward attainment of a CPA would be an asset
- Good knowledge of technology including advanced skills in Excel
- Exposure to product costing and accounts payable would be desirable
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Function well in positive, collaborative team culture
