Job Description

We’re looking for a Investment Director in the private equity and investment industry, to join our client in Vancouver, British Columbia. This will be a hybrid role.
 
Our client is a dynamic player in the investment sector, focused on value-driven acquisitions and strategic growth across traditional industries including manufacturing, consumer goods, services, and healthcare. The team values integrity, analytical rigor, and collaborative excellence. The Investment Director will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities, while working closely with portfolio companies and internal leadership.
 
Investment Director responsibilities:
  • Lead financial analysis, modeling, and valuation for potential investments
  • Conduct due diligence and assess strategic fit for acquisition targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Manage relationships with portfolio companies to support value creation
  • Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and industry dynamics to inform investment strategy
  • Utilize tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) to manage workflows 
The successful candidate has:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate management, private equity, investment banking, auditing, or consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and investment valuation methods
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with due diligence and risk evaluation
  • Strong logical thinking, numeracy, and discretion
  • Fluency in Mandarin (requirement)
 Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary is $130,000 depending on experience.
