Inside Sales Manager

We’re looking for an on-site Inside Sales Manager in the industrial equipment and manufacturing industry based in Edmonton.

Our client is a North American manufacturer of engineered products used in industrial and energy-related applications. This role is focused on leading a team of five inside sales professionals while ensuring a high level of accuracy, customer service, and process discipline across the sales function. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for managing workflow, supporting team development, and creating the structure and accountability required for a high-performing inside sales environment.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys building efficient processes, coaching people, and ensuring orders, quotations, and customer requests move through the organization accurately and on time.

Inside Sales Manager responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of five inside sales representatives
  • Oversee daily inside sales operations, quotations, order management, and customer inquiries
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure timely follow-up on customer requests
  • Develop and maintain efficient inside sales processes and workflow management practices
  • Ensure accuracy across quotations, pricing, order entry, and customer communications
  • Monitor team performance and establish reporting and accountability measures
  • Maintain CRM and ERP data integrity and process compliance
  • Partner with operations, sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order execution
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of team members
The successful candidate has:
  • 5+ years of inside sales leadership/management, customer service, sales operations, or related leadership experience
  • Previous experience leading and developing an inside sales team
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and process management skills
  • Experience managing quotations, order flow, sales support, and customer service functions
  • Strong communication and people leadership skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, and reporting systems
  • Industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical product experience is considered an asset
Compensation and benefits:
  • Base salary between $95,000 to $100,000
