We’re looking for an Inside Sales Manager!

Our client, a leading Canadian 3rd party logistics company, is currently looking for an exceptional candidate to join their expanding sales team in Vancouver. The Inside Sales Manager will be key in building and leading a team, generating new business, managing customer relationships, and growing our customer base within the 3PL industry. This position is perfect for a seasoned sales leader with a solid logistics background and a passion for achieving results.

Inside Sales Manager responsibilities:
  • Lead the inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, prospect, and secure new clients within the 3PL industry.
  • Assist in building, optimizing, and managing customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track sales pipelines, client interactions, and performance metrics.
  • Create and implement lead generation strategies, including identifying target markets and utilizing technology for prospecting and outreach.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to inside sales representatives.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports to senior management.
The successful candidate has:
  • Over 3 years of experience in inside sales or business development within the 3PL, logistics, or supply chain industries.
  • Expertise in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and guiding a sales team.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed base salary is $80,000-$90,000 plus performance-based incentives. Anticipated 1st year annual on target earnings of $90,000 - $105,000.
