The Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s technology systems, with a strong focus on the Oracle NetSuite ERP platform. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless system performance and supporting the company’s accounting and operations teams.
Systems Specialist responsibilities:
- Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Oracle NetSuite platform
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements and implement system changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues, including coordination with Oracle support
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and saved searches in NetSuite
- Provide training and guidance to users on NetSuite and system best practices
- Develop user guides, training videos, training manuals, and FAQ pages
- Maintain and optimize additional systems and software such as Google Workspace
- Monitor system performance and ensure security and data integrity
- Deliver first-and second-level IT support across hardware, software, and network needs
- Manage workstations, servers, mobile devices, user accounts, and security settings
- Support website administration, updates, and maintenance
- Create employee portal
- Lead or support IT-related projects including upgrades and new implementations
- Maintain detailed system documentation and ensure policy and regulatory compliance
- Suite scripting to extend and customize NetSuite, automate processes
- Manage user access
- Develop and maintain security protocols
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Information Systems & IT/System support, with a focus on Oracle NetSuite
- Experience in automating processes, manipulating data, and building custom user interfaces
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Information Systems
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle NetSuite administration and configuration
- Understanding of ERP infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
- Experience with system integration and IT project management
- NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant)
- Familiarity with scripting (e.g., JavaScript) for NetSuite customization
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in training and creating training materials
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
