Job Description
Our client is a well respected, medium sized company that has offices across Western Canada. They value collaboration, focus, innovation, and excellence where they put heart into all they do. The HR Manager role will be a valued member of the executive team and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices and processes by supporting the business needs and company strategy and objectives.
HR Manager responsibilities:
- Facilitates full cycle recruiting and onboarding for new hires
- Reviews, updates, and creates policies and procedures
- Coordinates and consults with succession planning, performance management, staff retention, benefits and payroll administration, workplace culture and event planning
- Coaches line managers on HR practices in all areas, including travel across western Canada on a quarterly basis
- Manages ongoing internal human resources projects and initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in a HR Manager, HRBP or HR Generalist capacity
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources
- A CHRP designation is a must, or the willingness to obtain a designation
- Real Estate experience is considered an asset
- Experience with ADP and HRIS systems is a must
- Strong communication skills, responsive and approachable
- Experience in design and implementation of HR policy and process
- Proven ability to interpret, apply and comply with employment standards and best HR practice
- Experience with all facets of HR function (employee relations, staff recruitment, payroll, benefits admin, performance management, onboarding, staff engagement, health and safety, reporting and analysis.)
- The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
